Είναι μέλος της περιφερειακής επιτροπής Στερεάς Ελλάδος του ΥΠ.Ε.Π.Θ με θέμα Επαγγελματικό Λογισμικό στην Τεχνική Επαγγελματική Εκπαίδευση και ανήκει στο σώμα των πρεσβευτών του Etwinning, πανευρωπαϊκής δράσης που υποστηρίζει το ΥΠ.Ε.Π.Θ.

Από το 2002 έως το 2005 δίδασκε πληροφορική στη μέση εκπαίδευση και στην τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης. Από το 2007 είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο, στη Σχολή Θετικών Επιστημών και Τεχνολογίας.
